to Baptist Homes, Inc., established in 1966, as a non-profit corporation, located in the desirable east end of Louisville, Kentucky. We provide a variety of quality services to seniors on our spacious twenty-acre campus: Baptist Home East is a first class health and rehab center; Cornell Trace has beautiful patio homes for independent living; Parr’s at Springhurst offers 79 apartments in a licensed senior living community which serves as a welcome alternative to the problems of remaining at home or entering a nursing home immediately for some people.

Our goal is to provide a continuum of quality care to all of our residents through caring, qualified professionals, state-of-the-art facilities and support services.

The costs of senior care are enormous. We are a not-for-profit corporation and more often than not, that fact is clearly displayed as we examine our bottom line. We have established the BHI Endowment Fund as a permanent endowment where only the interest earned can be used to help us offset shortages in our budget for resident care. We are finding it harder and harder to continue to meet these budgeted expenditures for care. Our endowment fund is quite small at this time and our hope and prayer is for it to have additional funds contributed so that the interest earned can continue to increase and help us off set current financial shortages.
